RED:Re

This is an early prototype of an idea we had in school. 

Once upon a time, there was an adorable little girl named Little Red Riding Hood. One day, her mother asked her for a very important favor. Loaded with gifts, Little Red Riding Hood embarked on an adventure to her grandmother's house near the Black Forest. She was warned not to enter this forest so as not to lose her way. However, she encountered a wolf who deceived her and sent her into the woods. Now her family is in danger. 

Will Little Red Riding Hood be able to break the spell that keeps her trapped in the forest?

Red:Re is a 2D side-scrolling Adventure Platformer pixel art game with a gothic visual style. It is set in a magical forest forbidden to humans. The objective is to find a hidden cave deep within the Black Forest that holds dangerous magic. The hidden gem will help you break the curse to escape and go home.

This is a short-duration game. It is a 2D side-scrolling adventure platformer. It will feature a cinematic, three levels, and a linear-style ending structure.

The game will include the following features:

• Cinematics that visually support the linear storyline of the game.
• Screen menus that provide options to the player, such as pause, restart, exit, main menu, and credits.
• Basic character movement
• Interaction with enemies, allowing the character to defeat them and receive damage from them.
• Health/life counter for the main character.
• Audio and sound effects that support the game's theme.
• Compelling characters with unique stories.

This game is still in the early stages. The combat system is not final, so we recommend to avoid fighting against the enemies to continue with the story. The teleport points are automatic, so be careful not to fall into a portal by accident.
